Video: Simon Jordan Attacks Brendan’s Motive For Celtic Return

Following the recent re-appointment of Brendan Rodgers as Celtic manager, the former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, has given his thoughts on the intentions of Brendan’s Celtic return.

While Jordan is a regular on talkSport and is capable of making a few reasonable points, his evaluation of Brendan has really missed the mark this week. In this most recent talkSport clip, Jordan maintains that Brendan ‘got away’ with doing a bad job at Leicester, despite an FA Cup win and two top-six finishes. Jordan is adamant that the only reason Brendan returned to Paradise, is to ‘re-build’ his reputation after what happened at Leicester and use it as a stepping stone back into the Premier League, using the phrase “He didn’t go to Scotland to come back to Scotland”.
