St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson has admitted that he has no sympathy for Derek Adams after he left Ross County. After just twelve games and as many bizarre post-match press conferences, Adams left Dingwall for a third time by mutual consent. The low point was when Adams blasted the quality of the league, saying it lacked quality.
However, speaking to PLZ Soccer, Robinson said that he had no sympathy for Adams, having managed Morecambe himself before returning to Scotland.
Scottish football is unique and whilst it will never have the riches of the Premier League (and some of the Championship), the passion is unrivalled. To have a manager in the league that was constantly slandering and shaming the quality of the division was always going to end poorly. For Adams, it ended in tears but that was unsurprising given the results.
