Well, that couldn’t have gone much better, could it?

All of Jim Goodwin’s early talk about his side not being scared of Celtic Park’s atmosphere, rival fans teasing Celtic that a reclamation of the league title would not happen and many more views had been touted.

It took all of two minutes to dispel those, with Stephen Welsh nodding home from a corner after what was Celtic’s first attack of the game.

Matthew O’Riley’s deflected effort went behind for a corner, and when the Dane swung the ball into the mixer, Welsh glanced home with relative ease past Kelle Roos to send Parkhead delirious.

Keep it up boys, there’s another 85 minutes to go!
