Celtic were welcomed onto the pitch at Easter Road by a stunning pyro show from supporters in the Celtic end. The Scottish Champions are currently 1-0 up away to Hibs thanks to an Adam Idah penalty, which will hopefully push Brendan Rodgers’ team onto three points. Although, the supporters showed that they are behind the team as they look to swat away the challenge from Rangers.

There is a wider issue in Scottish football with the authorities keen to clamp down on fan culture. Pyro and the Scottish football fan scene is here to stay and is thriving and rather than rebuking attempts to market our game, the relevant bodies should be working towards making it as accessible and safe as possible.
