NEIL LENNON & GREG TAYLOR spoke to Celtic TV after the disappointing draw at Rugby Park versus Kilmarnock. A Ryan Christie goal set Celtic up but they were pinned back courtesy of a Chris Burke penalty and couldn’t penetrate the disciplined Kilmarnock back line.

The manager and the left back both agreed that the Scottish Champions didn’t defend well enough and lacked the cutting edge required to breakdown Killie. Alex Dyer’s side were determined and resilient – which when you are going to Ayrshire, you can expect.

Celtic were passive and hopefully they go into the transfer market and flex their financial superiority by bringing some players in to give depth. Celtic won’t be able to ponder on this draw for long, they will need to bounce back in Paisley on Wednesday when they go to play St Mirren.
