Video: The Birth Of A Celtic Christmas Classic

Back when fans could attend games, Christmas was always an interesting time at Celtic Park as the songbook was given a shake up. We have heard remixes of Snow is falling all around us, Jingle bells, and perhaps best of all – Last Christmas.

The Last Christmas song was first heard from Celtic supporters in Zagreb during a Europa League match in December 2014.

The lyrics were quickly adapted to incoporate the name of Celtic’s Manager – Ronny Deila:

And that tradition has continued until fans were locked out of stadiums this year:
