CELTIC were declared Champions today following ratification by the SPFL board. While this is the way we were declared Champions due to the current global pandemic, it is not the way we won the league.
Neil Lennon’s side have won the league by 13 points, capping off an incredible campaign that has sadly been curtailed by Coronavirus. Following on from a defeat before New Years to Rangers, Celtic were unstoppable with only a draw blotting their domestic dominance as Lennon’s team extended their lead.
Whilst those that resent us claim a ‘tainted title’, it is worth reminding them how this title was won. Through attacking football, culminating in a lead that would have been extended in our remaining eight games.
Credit to Neil Lennon and his team for delivering yet another title. The Champions of Scotland for the ninth year in a row, on our way to make it ten.
