Video – Tommy Sheridan’s rousing Willie Maley message to Celtic supporters around the world

TOMMY SHERIDAN has released another rousing video for the Celtic support and this time he is lending his support to newly formed Newry Willie Maley Memorial Group in Newry in the north of Ireland who have begun a campaign to raise funds for a statue to honour the legendary Celt in his home town.

“A group of Celtic fans in Newry, Willie Maley’s birthplace, have joined together to establish a campaign to build a fitting memorial to the Celtic legend and first Celtic manager who gave 52 years service to the club and won 30 major honours in his 43 years in continuous charge of the team,” Tommy Sheridan said.

“Willie Maley is Mr Celtic and a statue in tribute to him should be erected in Newry. Please support the Willie Maley Memorial Group and it’s aims,” Tommy urges both individual Celtic supporters and supporters clubs around the world.
