The Celtic colleagues were pictured as Juranovic left the celebrations with his International teammates to console his friend from Celtic.

Maeda opened the scoring for Japan, his first of the tournament with a clinical finish. Unfortunately, he could only watch on as his teammates failed from the spot. The Celtic attacker’s industry was impressive as he helped push the game towards extra time.
