Video: Watch Lennoxtown Unfiltered ahead of Glasgow Derby

Celtic is gearing up for another crucial Glasgow Derby match this weekend in the cinch Premiership league, which gives us the opportunity to impose ourselves upon a floundering Ibrox club and stretch our lead at the top of Scottish football to twelve points! theRangers have kept it at nine points in the Scottish Premiership lately, but are soon to face a huge task at Paradise on Saturday afternoon.

The League Cup Final victory was sweet and it gave motormouth Beale and his outspoken team a dose of very sour tasting medicine at the hands of the Hoops. A Kyogo Furuhashi double double once again following his heroics in the 2021 final against Hibernian a year earlier was the nail in the coffin that day for the Govan side, despite a consolation from Alfredo Morelos.

Celtic should have gubbed them and rattled in four or five goals on the day, consequently letting them off the hook as we squandered several really good opportunities in front of Alan McGregor’s goal. It really should have been wrapped up in a bow with ribbons that one at Hampden Park back on 26 February, but the scoreline suggested it was a lot closer than it was in reality.

This weekend, we ought to be hitting double figures in terms of points and the space between us in the league standings. With no away fans as well, it’s bound to be a wonderful Celtic atmosphere for the adoring Bhoys supporters, but also very intimidating for the away side who will have to endure the cacophony of sound that will greet them when they emerge from the tunnel.

It’s due to be a cracker and hopefully the weather is nice for the fans too.

Meanwhile, watch the Hoops train at Lennoxtown ahead of this week’s derby match with Aaron Mooy on show but worryingly there’s no sign of Reo Hatate or Greg Taylor.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
