The Bhoys have this week been putting the preparations in place and laying the groundwork for our Scottish Cup Final clash against Billy Dodds’ men. The Championship club stand between Ange Postecoglou and this current Celtic team’s quest for an historic Treble and the atmosphere is building as we tick down to match-day.

The media have done their level best – as they usually always do – to unsettle our club ahead of this momentous occasion and the rumours have been flowing like the faux-outrage over our cordial celebrations on Trophy Day last weekend against Aberdeen. Sour grapes I believe is the correct turn of phrase in this most recent instance.

Anyway, despite the endeavours to put us off our stride, all the noise has been external and the squad and manager have been chipping away at training up at our Lennoxtown Headquarters as they always do, because We Never Stop! We seem to have rectified the blip in form after we won the League officially but that 5-0 mauling of the Dons was pretty convincing.

Anything can happen in a Cup Final and Ange Postecoglou will know this more than most, as Billy Dodds and his men will be eager to test that Hoops defence that leaked so many goals a matter of weeks ago against Hibernian. Set-pieces will be of particular interest to the Inverness boss and his side so the Bhoys will have to be on their guard in that respect tomorrow.

It’s almost there!

Meanwhile, watch the Bhoys train at Lennoxtown ahead of our potential Treble…
