Ahead of Sunday’s clash at Celtic Park with Hibs, here’s a look back at our two previous meetings with the Hibees this season and then the last time the Hibees were at Celtic Park.

Firstly, we have the last time the teams met which was in the League Cup semi-final at Hampden, which resulted in Paul Heckingbottom being shown the door by the Edinburgh club. A double from Moi Elyounoussi and Scott Brown along with one from Callum McGregor saw Celtic dispatch the Easter Road side 5-2.

Secondly, we have the opening game from the season, which saw a Kris Ajer OG and a Ryan Christie header keep the teams on level terms at full-time; however, it was the performance of Kevin Clancy that gained much of the headlines after he failed to spot two clear penalties for Neil Lennon’s team.

Thirdly, comes the last time that the sides met at Celtic Park – back in February. After Neil Lennon’s controversial exit from Hibs, Eddie May took the side to Celtic Park where goals from Ryan Christie and Oliver Burke either side of half time gave Brendan Rodgers’ side a 2-0 win.
