Celtic beat Hibs yesterday and restored their two point lead over second place with goals from Jeremie Frimpong and Odsonne Edouard enough to settle the match.

The SPFL have released the highlights of the game, giving you the chance to have another look at the goals that extended Celtic’s domestic unbeaten run and saw Neil Lennon’s side bounce back from the dead rubber defeat in Romania.

In a game where Celtic switched to a 3-5-2 formation, Frimpong was unleashed down Celtic’s right flank and was at the heart of many Celtic attacks. He was rewarded for his tenacity when Edouard robbed Porteous of the ball before playing through the 19-year-old, who slid the ball under Marciano in the Hibs net.

Celtic’s second came when the returning Odsonne Edouard found himself in a pocket of space for James Forrest to cut a Bolingoli cross back before the Frenchman put the ball in the net.

The Scottish Champions can go 5 points clear with a win over Hearts on Wednesday as they look to extend their lead further.
