Neil Lennon has reflected on a ‘great’ win after Celtic beat St Mirren 2-1 in Paisley.

The manager spoke to Celtic TV after goals from McGregor and Forrest allowed the Scottish Champions to retain their 5 point lead over Rangers.

Goals in the first half were enough to get the Hoops over the line, even if a late deflected free-kick did give the travelling support a degree of discomfort at the end.

Celtic now face Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday where a win would give Lennon’s side an eight point lead over their Glasgow neighbours going into the winter break.
