Celtic FC Women made history yesterday with a 2-0 Champions League win in their group final at the home of Lithuanian Champions FC Gintra. The victory means that Celtic progress to the knock-out round of the Champions League for the first time ever…

Shannon McGregor with a brilliant strike and Kit Loferski with a header from close range gave Celtic the win in a match that the Ghirls dominated from start to finish. The draw will be made at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon tomorrow and will be a home and away two legged tie with a place in the group stages the prize for the winners. Celtic supporters really must get out to support the team for this one!

Celtic too surely must play the game at Celtic Park!
