All the best to Harry if he leaves, if so Broony is the natural choice to replace him…

Harry Kewell is rumoured to be the front runner to take over from Kevin Muscat at Yokohama F Marinos. The former Leeds and Liverpool winger was brought to the club as a first team coach 18 months ago by fellow countryman Ange Postecoglou and has continued in the same capacity under Brendan Rodgers.

Harry been a great influence on the squad especially the wide players, and is seen as popular figure around the club, so it will be a blow to see him move on. But such is football, it happens and we’ll move on. Harry will of course have to be replaced and who better than Scott Brown?

Yes Broony, the most successful Celtic skipper of the modern era. It’s a no brainier. He’s had plenty of coaching experience since leaving in 2021. He was of course assistant at Aberdeen and had a 16 month spell as the main man at Fleetwood Town.

Not to mention he has a great knowledge and understanding of our club and what it means to be a part of it. He also knows how Brendan Rodgers operates working closely with the manager during his first spell as Celtic boss.

Broony is a born winner, and that enthusiasm would rub off on the players. He’s had experience in coaching and he knows the club inside out. For me he ticks all the boxes.

Broony would be a natural replacement for Harry, make it happen Celtic.
