Adam Idah looked bright and sharp when he appeared from the bench at Ibrox on Sunday. The on loan Norwich man looked to have grabbed the winner late on with a well taken finish, his sixth goal in only nine appearances since his deadline day transfer.
With no option to buy clause in his loan agreement it’s expected that Adam will return to Norwich when the season comes to a conclusion. That won’t however stop the club from making a bid if he continues to impress and the Championship side are willing to negotiate a reasonable price.
A reasonable price in my opinion would be around £2- £4 million considering the Irish international is out of favour with the Carrow Road side. Brendan Rodgers is clearly an admirer of the Irishman and it would come as no surprise if he were to pursue a more permanent deal in the summer.
Adam is a talented player with a lot of potential. He can play anywhere across the front three. He is physically strong mobile and good in the air, and more importantly he knows the way to goal.
The club have been linked with several other strikers such as Bojan Miovski and Mathias Kvistgaarden, who are quality players, but could the answer to quality competition for Kyogo already be staring us in the face in the shape of Adam Idah? Time will tell.
