Oliver Abildgaard posted an emotional farewell message to Celtic this evening on his Instagram account after completing his move to Serve A strugglers Hellas Verona FC.

Abildgaard joined Celtic from Russian side Rubin Kazan on a season long loan deal in August. However as the Danish international player had been training away from his club due to the war in Ukraine it took an extended period for him to get his match fitness up. That has now happened but it’s not going to benefit Celtic but might just help keep Hellas Verona FC in Serie A. We certainly wish him well.
