Edouard scored with a neatly taken finish to level things up at half-time; however, it would be two goals in the second half that would steal the show and put the Norwegian champions to the sword.
With the second half just forty seconds old, Olivier Ntcham took a pass from James Forrest, cut back inside and with a neat bit of footwork, found an opening to curl a beauty of a shot into the goalkeeper’s left hand post.
French Eddy struck again with a Larsson-esque chip to seal a 3-1 scoreline on a convincing and impressive night for the Scottish Champions. Here’s hoping that we will be able to seal an aggregate victory when we travel to Trondheim next week.
