Shane Duffy and Ryan Christie are both starters in the Celtic team that will kick-off at mid-day in the Scottish Premiership match against St Johnstone at Perth.

Scott Bain keeps the gloves as expected and the back our are Jonjoe Kenny and Greg Taylor as the two full backs with Duffy replacing the injured Welsh (he’ll be back next week ) and Kristoffer Ajer playing in the centre of the Celtic defence.

The midfield five sees Scott Brown and Callum McGregor joined by Tom Rogic – the best player on the park on Tuesday’s 4-0 win at St Mirren according to the Celtic manager Neil Lennon – Ryan Christie and David Turnbull with Odsonne Edouard leading the line in a return to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Presumably Rogic is playing as the Ten with Christie and Turnbull at each side?

The subs are Barkas, Griffiths, Ajeti, Klimala, Soro, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Ralston and Laxalt.
