Josip Juranovic showed why he is a target for a number of teams with some tenacious play as he assisted Croatia’s second goal against Canada. The Celtic full-back was named from the start for the Balkan side as they look to record their first win at Qatar, having drawn their opener against Morocco.

The Croatian full-back raced forward, coming into the middle of the park as he so often does for Celtic, before firing the ball to Marko Livaja. Livaja’s strike from the edge of the box found the net and the 2018 Finalists turned the tables on the Canadians.

On the other side, Juranovic’s heir apparent, Ally Johnston, is playing for Canada.
