‘A Tribute to Stevie’ by Gillian Johnstone, with a little help from her friends

GILLIAN JOHNSTONE took to social media looking for a favour from The Celtic Family. She had written a lovely poem as a tribute to Lisbon Lion Stevie Chalmers but needed some help to make it look better, perhaps by adding some design and photography and of course it didn’t take long for help to arrive.

“Twitter friends I’m looking for a favour. As most of you will know, I wrote this poem as a tribute to Stevie Chalmers. As you can see I’m hopeless on computers, could anyone of you possibly re- print it a bit more fancy with possibly some pictures? Thanks in advance Hail Hail,” Gillian wrote.

NorthernSoul @OrkneyBhoy immediately offered to assist and here is how Gillian’s poem looks as a result. And now that The Celtic Star has featured Gillian’s wonderful poem many more people will see it and in all it’s glory to thanks to one Celtic supporter helping out another.

Well done to you both – a class poem to conclude The Celtic support’s tribute to the two Lions, Cesar and Stevie Chalmers…
