Following a recent announcement from Celtic Football Club that the Celtic Foundation had teamed up with the Liverpool Foundation, to arrange a Legends Charity Match. Now the club have confirmed that tickets for this match will now be available to purchase.
The game itself will be down in Liverpool at Anfield, in what will be a first ever for these two sides in this particular setting for a Charity Match. They have played these games in the past at Celtic Park, so this will be an opportunity for supporters to enjoy a change of venue and a new experience.
Celtic Legends, Stiliyan Petrov and Artur Boruc have been the first to sign up to this great venture by both clubs. Petrov enjoyed seven great seasons at Parkhead and was instrumental in a Martin O’Neill side that reached out first European Final for 33 years. Boruc, likewise, was integral to Gordon Strachan during the period after O’Neill departed Paradise – helping the club reach the Champions League Last-16 twice.
Tickets are on sale for this wonderful event and are priced as follows; Adults £27, Over 65’s £20, 16 and Under £7. Juniors must be purchased as a pair on a 2:1 ratio basis. These tickets are also only available from the Liverpool FC ticket office and NOT Celtic.
