Video: Celtic target Szymon Wlodarczyk’s goals, dubbed ‘young Lewandowski’

Celtic are reportedly interested in bringing Górnik Zabrze forward Szymon Wlodarczyk. The striker has been described as being like Barcelona hitman Robert Lewandowski. The fee suggested is around £3.5m and whilst the Scottish Champions are said to be keen, Cho appears to be the target.

For those of us not familiar with Wlodarczyk, here is a compilation of some of his best moments in attack.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano told a Polish media outlet that Celtic were among a number of European teams sizing up interest in the striker.

“This young striker playing for Gornik Zabrze, he’s a very talented boy, I’m told that there in Poland, you consider him as a potential young Lewandowski, already with seven goals and it can be double at the end of the season, so a very good talent.”

“I’m told that some clubs are exploring a move for him, including Anderlecht, Celtic and also Freiburg, but some Serie A clubs are also moving for the summer.”

It will be interesting to see whether a move transpires with Celtic certainly looking to bolster their forward options this window.
