Greg Taylor has been spotted training for Celtic at the clubs Lennoxtown training facility today, ahead of the big match against theRangers at Celtic Park tomorrow. The left-back received a dead-leg last Sunday afternoon up at Dingwall against Ross County and had to be removed from the action. His replacement, Alexandro Bernabei went on to score the second and most crucial goal of the game and secured the three points during a tense afternoon in the Highlands.
Taylor has been a mainstay in this Ange Postecoglou side since the Greek-Aussie boss stepped into the role at Paradise back in the summer of 2021. Adapting exceedingly well to the manager’s preferred inverted full-back positioning, he has come on leaps and bounds in his development and has cemented a place as one of the key performers in the team.

Undoubtedly a blow if he were to miss the big Glasgow Derby match tomorrow along with Reo Hatate, the news has broken that he has been spotted training ahead of this Saturday’s lunch-time kick-off in cinch Premiership. It is a welcome relief for the Celtic supporters at this stage as it was looking likely that we would have to go without both Taylor and Hatate come the weekend as neither were spotted training recently.
The 25-year-old will be crucial to Celtic’s retaining of the title this year and his involvement in tomorrow’s match increases our chances of a victory ten-fold. He is as consistent a performer as we have seen in a green and white jersey over the years, and has overcome early criticism and scepticism from some quarters to emerge as a stalwart of this current Celtic team.
