Celtic host Lazio in Matchday Two of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday evening. The Scottish Champions go into the game in fine form domestically but are yet to record any points in Europe’s premier competition.
The Serie A outfit are in Glasgow ahead of the game with embattled ex-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri hoping for a result to cultivate his team. However, he will face an intense atmosphere under the lights in Glasgow’s East End.
When the teams met in 2019, there were a number of displays relating predominantly to to the Lazio support’s political connections. After the club and the group failed to agree terms for a tifo, a number of posters have been spotted in Glasgow City Centre.
Earlier today, the Green Brigade called on the support to create a hostile atmosphere for the visitors to Celtic Park. It will certainly be a spectacle and hopefully Celtic can collect all three points.
