Hugh Keevins selling Sunday papers with more anti-Celtic drivel

Keevins once more pushing his anti Celtic drivel as he tries to sell his Sunday paper…

Hugh Keevins continues to push his anti-Celtic narrative. I don’t know what the auld hack has against our club, well there could be a few reasons, but in continuing to do so he can’t help but distort the facts in order to fulfil his agenda.

Today he had a pop at our ‘bottle’ yes he did just that. It did make me chuckle, I mean questioning the credentials of the only unbeaten side in the league who are currently five points clear, led by a man who has won every honour in the Scottish game is highly amusing.

Indeed he is more complementary to Phillipe Clement who is just in the door at Ibrox.

Keevins reckons the pressure is on us in the games leading up to Glasgow Derby clash at the end of the month.

But isn’t it always? Yes of course it is. Have we been under-performing recently? Maybe, but guess what? We still remain unbeaten and currently enjoy a five point lead at the top of the table.

That’s despite us having to adjust to playing under a different style of football under a new man in charge. We’ve also been missing key players whilst having been sent to every tough away venue in the first quarter of games.

One of those games were at packed Ibrox with no away supporters, and we won despite having a makeshift back four knowing a defeat would see us knocked off top spot.

If that doesn’t prove our bottle then nothing else will.

No who else has plenty of bottle? Those who continue to employ the slivering old fool who is Hugh Keevins. The man is past his sell by date, and it’s time for him to retire while he still has some of his remaining faculties.

Meanwhile the Sunday Mail’s circulation continues to slide, despite Hugh doing his worst.

  1. Dude not read the article and won’t read it but If based on the tweet then I agree with that statement as it was exactly what Brendan did. We have underperformers BR called out a few the last few weeks notably named the ones he knew would take it ok the chin and up their game before the transfer window opens. Mikey Johnstone, David Turnbull fall into that as our benched midfielders.

There will be movements between January and the end of the summer and this month maybe the last opportunity for some players at the club.

    • I can’t disagree with Keevins, instead of blindly following celtic, wake up to how the team has turned so quickly under Rodgers.
He has no idea how to get the best from the players.
Hart, Taylor, Philips, Forrest, M Johnston, should not be wearing the Celtic Jersey.
Ange had the team moving quickly, performances were not always great but they kept going.
Under Rodgers the team has gone backwards.
January may not bring in any players that can improve the team, players available in January are usually no longer required at their club, so how could they be of benefit to Celtic.
Rodgers is back with slow uninspiring football.
Worst of all Lawell has his grip on the club again, he has taken the club back to the edge of horrendous protests, should The Rangers win at Celtic park then I can see the fans turning rapidly, especially with the current Green Brigade situation.
Signings made during the summer are not making an improvement on the team, sadly the team is weaker due to selling players with no one found to fill their boots.
Carter vickers is the only proper defender we have, he works well with Scales but even Scales showed up badly against Killie, not surprisingly given that there’s not another defender in the team.
Both full backs go forward and leave us wide open, Taylor in particular, I’d play with 10 men instead of starting Taylor.
Killie were like men against infants, we had no fight, easily lost the ball, no height to defend crosses.
Team was good until around 30 min mark, then Killie were getting into the match strongly.
What did Rodgers say at half time as celtic did not come out in the 2nd half.

  2. Brilliant article………… the old git CELTIC have been proving wrong for years , has he the bottle to call out refs and the sfa? Wish he could deal in facts , then his article would be so much better!

  3. Deleted my post because you know I was right. What an utter bellend, you’ve lost all credibility now.

  4. Still deleting comments. Your lack of understanding and comprehension making this article and your words seem rather foolish.
