Fully aboard the Brendan bus, and he’s got more Ibrox myths to expose

Brendan had a lot of making up to do on his return. After yesterday’s home truths, even the most critical of supporters must be fully aboard the Brendan bus.

Brendan Rodgers had a a lot of making up to do on his return to the club last year. Supporters such as myself were still a bit sore from his sudden departure at a vital part of the season five years ago.

However a year later and a domestic double in the bag, he’s gone a long way in making up for his indiscretions and dare I say it, his remaining critics within the Celtic support are starting to warm to him yet again.

Yesterday he warmed his way into the heart of even the most critical supporter when he stood up for the club in front of the watching world and told everyone including the SMSM how it is. Brendan said what everyone else knew including the spineless SMSM in that theRangers and not Celtic are to blame for the ongoing away supporter allocation.

Brendan spoke plainly and truthfully leaving the outside world in no doubt as who is to blame for this utter fiasco, not that we didn’t know it already, but Brendan let everyone know by setting the record straight in true Brendan style.

Brendan of course owes a big thank you to the hacks he was addressing at Lennoxtown yesterday afternoon.

Had the Scottish mainstream media had any integrity whatsoever Brendan would not have had the opportunity to outline the plain and simple facts. Those hacks happily allow one distortion of the truth after another when it comes to the latest Ibrox club. If it’s not both being as bad as each other over the away ticket row, it was the going for 55 nonsense which of course re-enforced the same club lie to hide the fact that Rangers FC was liquidate and ceased to exit. When they won 54 was that number ever mentioned? Of course it wasn’t.

The so called, self proclaimed most successful club in the world, has actually one three trophies. One league, one Scottish Cup and one league cup, if you discount the minor league trophies after they started afresh in the old third division. They were never DEMOTED or RELEGATED, they were LIQUIDATED and the club ceased to exit.

I’d guess everyone is now fully aboard the Brendan bus, if not he has the same club myth to expose at a future media conference.

I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.

  1. With the deepest irony and the shallowest self-awareness, the author lauds the exposure of one myth while spreading another elsewhere.
A mistake, uncorrected by a writer, becomes a lie. A lie, allowed to stand, devalues any writing that follows.
Why is this important? Why do I care? Why should you care? I hear you ask.
In very simple terms, I believe that Glasgow Celtic should, in all respects, be better than its rivals. I see enough risibly false narratives from that source. We don’t need any of our own.
