Tuesday is in the past, three points in Dingwall is all that matters

Tuesday is in the past. Three points is all that matters today in Dingwall…

Celtic are in Dingwall for the midday kick-off against Ross County aiming to stretch our lead at the top and put some pressure on Aberdeen who play Hearts later on in their 3pm kick off.

We’re bound to be a little leg weary and mentally tired after our thumping over in Dortmund on Tuesday night, so we shouldn’t be surprised that Brendan has made a few changes, nothing wholesale, but still a side capable of winning the game.

Greg Taylor and Cameron Carter-Vickers are out injury so Auston Trusty retains his place for a third start and Alex Valle comes in at left back. In midfield Reo Hatate gets the nod with Paul Bernardo dropping to the bench and up front Adam Idah starts with Kyogo is among a strong list of substitutes on the Celtic bench. Here’s the team…

We need to put Tuesday at the back of our minds, it’s in the past now. Three points is the most important thing today against a side who will make it extremely tough for us.

We’ve played some great stuff this season and scored plenty of goals, and if we do that today then great, but a narrow ground out result will be just as good.

Three points is three points after all, and that’s what we need to get today to put Tuesday firmly behind us as we head into the international break back in high spirits.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy

  1. Totally off the pace in that first half, and far worse than just a European hangover on show?
Desperately need to improve our tempo in this season half, and worrying with the lack of ideas for breaking down such an anti football approach, playing right into county hands at present
