Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this afternoon’s Premiership clash against Ross County. The Scottish Champions will be eager to bounce back from their UEFA Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund with a win in Dingwall…
Rodgers has made three changes from the team in Germany, with Alex Valle, Reo Hatate and Adam Idah coming in from the start. Valle comes in to replace injured Greg Taylor while Hatate and Idah come in for Paulo Bernardo and Kyogo, who drop to the bench.
Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals.
A backline of Valle, Liam Scales, Auston Trusty and Alistair Johnston starts.
In midfield, Hatate comes in alongside skipper Callum McGregor and Arne Engels.
In attack, Adam Idah starts through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kühn in the wide areas.
Subs: Sinisalo, Palma, Kyogo, Yang, McCowan, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Forrest & Ralston.
Brendan has given Idah the opportunity to impress from the start as he looks to claim the starting role for himself. The Irishman’s strike against St Johnstone was awarded SPFL Goal of the Month for September after he rounded off a wonderful team move.
