Brendan Rodgers has named a strong Celtic team for this evening’s friendly against Sligo Rovers…
The Scottish Champions are in Ireland to face the LOI opponents at The Showgrounds as Brendan looks to keep his players sharp.
Scott Bain starts in goals. The centre back pairing consists of Stephen Welsh and Maik Nawrocki with Alex Valle at left back and Lenny Agbaire filling in at right back.
Francis Turley starts in the midfield with Luke McCowan and Jude Bonnar. McCowan, who joined the club from Dundee on deadline day will be looking to show his experience by marshalling the young duo. Lewis Dobbie will likely start out left with Yang on the right meaning that Luis Palma could start through the middle.
Celtic Subs: Morrison, Rice, Robertson, Bonetig, McArdle, Dargie, Davidson, Cannon, Haddow,
Isiguzo.

No Holm or monty involved?
Presume that they are injured, as if they aren’t,would be very surprising that they were not involved tonight?
