And it is one we can head into with great confidence. This Premier Sports Cup semi-final is one that Brendan Rodgers, his players and the entire Celtic support will relish.
The scene is set for tomorrow evening. The two best sides in the country going head to head at the national stadium with a place in the Premier Sports Cup final up for grabs.
It’s not exaggerating to say that this will be the biggest test of Celtic this season domestically as this Aberdeen side are in fine form and look the real deal in terms of challenging for the trophies.

Lessons from the 2-2 draw at Celtic Park
We have seen that up close at Celtic Park as they fought from two goals down to snatch a vital point, but this game will be even an even bigger challenge as it’s a cup game at a neutral venue and it has all the ingredients to be classic game of football.
Our last semi-final against Aberdeen back in April will go down as one of the ‘classic’ varieties and with this Dons side being a much improved and better side now, it really is anyone’s game.
Despite the threat the Dons pose, I’m still confident as we too have been in fine form, and that is all down to the management of Brendan Rodgers. Brendan has us playing some fine football, and we are a much more efficient side than last season, a season in which we won a double!
Brendan relishes these types of games
Brendan relishes these types of games, and with a full squad to choose from we can go into this game with great confidence. I for one can’t wait.
Callum McGregor declared himself fit and ready to play at his pre-match media conference earlier this afternoon. “The prize is the same for both sides and we’ll both be desperate to get there,” the Celtic captain noted.

Just an Ordinary Bhoy
Wouldn’t it be Aberdeen’s biggest test too?
Typical SMSM question!!!!
