Celtic TV To Show Behind Closed Doors Match

Following Celtic’s narrow victory over Cork City in the Rebel County in midweek, the Hoops travel to Portugal for the next leg of their pre-season journey. There, the Bhoys will take on Premeira Liga Estrela Da Amadora in a behind closed doors friendly at the Benfica Academy on Saturday.

Celtic fans may have been expecting to miss out on the action, but news from the club has revealed that Celtic TV will broadcast the match, which kicks off at 11am.

The game could be supporter’s first opportunity to witness Kieran Tierney back in the hoops, while new signing Benjamin Nygren could also feature in the game.

Live match streams will be shown to club channel subscribers worldwide, with highlights and full replays later being shown on demand. Coverage begins at 10.45am as Paul Cuddihy and Peter Grant commentate on things as they unfold in Lisbon.
