Former Celtic defender Steven Pressley is under pressure after just two games as Dundee boss. The ex-Hearts captain was named Dundee Head Coach in the summer, replacing Tony Docherty, but after just two games is facing questions about his future.
The 51-year-old, recently left his role as head of player development at Brentford, has lost his first two games losing 1-0 at home to Airdrie and then a 1-0 away defeat to Alloa Athletic.
Supporters are less than impressed suggesting that Pressley should never have been appointed in the first place. Pressley’s relationship with Strachan had been suggested as a potential connection to take the former defender to Dens.
Celtic signed Pressley from Hearts in 2007, where he would spend 18 months and win two leagues and a Scottish Cup. Pressley has experience in the league with Falkirk but has had his credentials questioned by the Dundee support, especially with a number of candidates available.
Never rated him as a manager after Ferguson Scotland fiasco lost all respect not standing up to rangers due if they were in another spl team media would have slaughtered them instead of slap on wrist then the antics on the night of game they got dropped childish but thats they way they acted through there careerer I dont know if they are in Scotland Hall of fame I think is a farce and if wee Barry ma baw and his lap dog McGregor name are in it that just proves its a farce
