Today’s photo of the day shows James Forrest celebrating another goal that he scored, in a 2-1 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle in August 2016.
The goal came on this same match day weekend, nine years ago (7 August). Forrest opened the scoring on 8 minutes, Hearts levelled and debutant Scott Sinclair came on to score the winner with 81 minutes on the clock.

That win got Brendan Rodgers up and running at Celtic. Almost a decade later, the Celtic boss is back at the club looking for early season wins on the road, with Forrest still starting matches for the Hoops on the right wing.
Today Celtic face Aberdeen at Pittodrie. Brendan Rodgers has made one change to his team which started against St Mirren last weekend – James Forrest in for Yang. Kick off is at 12.30.
