Team’s Up – Kieran Tierney starts for Scotland in Liverpool friendly

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has been named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland side for this evening’s game against Ivory Coast. The Tartan Army have travelled down to Liverpool to face the AFCON side in Everton’s impressive new stadium.

Clarke has made eight changes from the side that lost to Japan, giving some players on the periphery of his squad the chance to stake their claim for the World Cup.

Scotland: Kelly, McCrorie, Souttar, Hyam, Robertson, Tierney, Gilmour, Christie, McTominay, Hirst, Adams.

Subs: Gunn, Bain, McGinn, Patterson, Dykes, Hendry, Miller, Ferguson, Conway, Ralston, McLean, Irving, Curtis, McKenna.

Elsewhere, the Ivory Coast team has been named: Lafont, Diomande, Singo, Kossounou, Kessie, Traore, Wahi, Oulai, Toure, Pepe.
