Sun Drenched Rennes is Green and White

THOUSANDS of Celtic Supporters are gathering in the centre of Rennes, enjoying the beautiful weather, having a party and looking forward to the opening group stages match this evening between Rennes and Celtic in the Europa League.

Matt Corr is there and will be writing his usual away day European Diary exclusively for The Celtic Star. In an age of click-bait content, the articles that Matt, David Potter and others provide for this site really does raise the standards and are a credit to these writers and indeed the Celtic support that they represent.

Matt’s powerful and moving article on his trip to Sarajevo in July is the finest Celtic article I’ve read in many years and I’m proud that this was published on The Celtic Star. If you missed that brilliant piece of fan journalism, then you can catch ‘Something inside, so strong…the spirit of Miss Sarajevo,’ Matt Corr’s Diary, Dedicated to the victims of the Siege of Sarajevo and the massacre at Srebrenica HERE.

And you’ll find out the tragic story of the lorry you see above.

As a taster for Matt’s Rennes Diary here are a few of his tweets from today from the sun drenched capital of Brittany.
