Leigh Griffiths scored Celtic’s first goal of the decade as the Hoops took an early lead away at Partick Thistle. Celtic dominated proceedings from the beginning as expected and after some good early pressure, the deadlock was finally broken by the Scot when the ball fell at his feet inside the box and he made no mistake.

This should be a huge confidence booster for the striker who has struggled to find the back of the net this season. This is his fourth goal of the season and should do him a world of good, especially with new Celtic signing, Patryk Klimala watching from the bench.
