Copenhagen Injuries Hand Celtic Huge Boost

Celtic have been handed a huge boost after it was revealed that Copenhagen will go into the Last 32 round next week with a lengthy injury list.

The Danes were already without Jonas Wind, Nicolai Boilesen and Robert Mudrazija who had already been ruled out.

But now star man Viktor Fischer, Jens Stage and Ragnar Sigurdsson are all major doubts for the visit of Neil Lennon’s side to Copenhagen next week ahead of the first leg. The Danish Champions face Esbjerg this weekend as they return to action but newspaper Tipsbladet state that  Ståle Solbakken’s side will struggle with injuries when Celtic visit the Danish capital.

The Scottish Champions have been ravaged by injuries for large parts this year but come into the game with Ryan Christie, Moi Elyounoussi and Boli Bolingoli returning to the pitch as well as defensive reinforcements Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed returning to training this week.

This is a huge boost for Celtic as they look to progress to the Last 16 with a defeat over the Danes.
