HENRIK LARSSON was one of the men that helped stop Rangers win 10IAR back in the 1997-98 season. Now, the King of Kings has backed his former teammate Neil Lennon to win Celtic’s 10th consecutive title in a row. Speaking to Robert Snodgrass and Kris Boyd on The Lockdown Tactics podcast, the Swede predicted a closely run affair with the quality of Celtic shining through to deliver Scottish footballing history.
In a preview shared ahead of tomorrow’s release, the King discussed winning 10IAR, 23 years after he stopped Rangers’ bid.
“That would be nice – Lenny is doing a great job there, it wasn’t easy, but I mean I think it’s going to be a tough one because I think Rangers are going to do everything in their power to stop them from winning 10 in a row.
“But I think that the quality of the players at Celtic is a little bit better than the Rangers players.
“I hope that we get 10 in a row, that would be great – that would be a great party as well.”

Larsson interestingly claims that the Rangers team was older than this current crop of Celtic players and believes that the hungrier Celtic side will be able to win as they know what it takes.
The interview will be brilliant to hear and is available today from 7am.
