CELTIC have announced that that they will play two pre-season friendlies in the space of two days as the Scottish Champions prepare for the season to begin on August 2 at home to Hamilton Accies.
The club confirmed in a statement on their website that they would host Ross County and Hibernian on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 as Neil Lennon’s side seek match practice before flag day at Paradise. The games will be used as test events for supporters to use their Pass to Paradise.
With games to be played behind closed doors until further notice (hopefully October), supporters will be forced to watch Celtic from their homes using the online streaming service. Season Ticket holders have received their passes during the week and will be able to watch the games with two different Celtic sides likely to appear.
It is expected that the side that started the game versus Lyon (a B team) will play one of the fixtures whilst the first picks will play another game, giving all of the squad the opportunity to get some vital minutes on the park before kicking off a hectic month of football which includes European qualifiers.
📺 Both pre-season games will be test games for the ‘Pass To Paradise’ and season ticket holders will be able to watch the games at home and cheer on the Bhoys.
ℹ️ These games will be played behind closed doors and supporters are urged NOT to come to the stadium.
