Video: Celtic Beat Dundee United 11-10 On Penalties As Boruc Puts His Spot Kick In The Postage Stamp

It’s hard to believe that 12 years have now elapsed since Celtic’s dramatic League Cup Semi Final victory over Dundee United at Hampden.

Few could forget that night as a dire 0-0 draw culminated in one of the most extraordinary penalty shoot-outs, which Celtic won 11-10. Not only did the Hoops seal victory, but Artur Boruc stole the show by putting his spot kick right into the top corner.

The League Cup Final would be drawn 0-0 too, against Rangers, but a Darren O’Dea header and McGeady penalty earned Celtic the trophy in extra time.
