“That is criminal defending,” BBC Pundits analyse Celtic defending at Ross County goal

On Sportscene Marvin Bartley talked us through the key decision taken by Ross County manager John Hughes to shut down Kris Ajer and force Celtic to play down the left hand side last night. That meant that the County knew exactly where Celtic were going to be coming at them and they were in position to snuff out any threat.

Michael Stewart then looked closely at Celtic’s “criminal defending” at the Ross County goal and Diego Laxalt’s role in that is highlighted. Be warned it makes for painful, if all too familiar viewing. And when you add to that by thinking about Ryan Christie’s abysmal shooting – actually clearing the ball out of the stadium when the goal was at his mercy – it just about sums up a season to forget for Celtic.

Has Neil Lennon done the honourable thing yet? No? Okay has the highest paid CEO in British football decided that enough was enough yet and put Lennon and the entire Celtic support out of their misery? No?

From the high standards of Brendan Rodgers to this thanks to one man…Peter Lawwell.
