Video: Watch Celtic Loan Bhoy Luca Connell’s latest goal for Queen’s Park

It’s been a regular occurrence on The Celtic Star in recent weeks, documenting the impressive performances from on loan Celtic midfielder Luca Connell as he stars for League Two Champions Queen’s Park. Last night he was at it again, this time with another goal against Elgin.

The strike came in the closing stages of a match Elgin had to win and they were 3-1 ahead when Connell pulled one back for the Champions, thus the muted celebrations. The game finished 3-2 to Elgin.

Luca Connell is one of numerous loan players who will be returning to Celtic over the next few weeks and will be assessed by the incoming manager – if not Howe, who knows? – to see if they are going to be part of his plans for the new era. Connell surely merits being given an opportunity at Celtic?
