Sit back and enjoy these images from the Champions League qualifier last night at Ibrox where theRangers went down 4-2 (on aggregate) to ten men. Why does that sound so familiar? It’s a third defeat in row for Gerrard’s side and there are already calls for his head among their support. Loved the Hail Mary reference from the Premier Sport commentator too. Great entertainment…

The Celtic Star founder and editor David Faulds has edited numerous Celtic books over the past decade or so including several from Lisbon Lions, Willie Wallace, Tommy Gemmell and Jim Craig. Earliest Celtic memories include a win over East Fife at Celtic Park and the 4-1 League Cup loss to Partick Thistle as a 6 year old. Best game? Easy 4-2, 1979 when Ten Men Won the League. A disaster for rangers that result last night. Will be interesting to see what unfolds, hard to see them signing any players now, if anything they will have to sell. Most clubs in their predicament would have to try and balance the books but with them who knows what they will do.
Yada Ya on
“Player trading model that they have adopted”. That’s a good one, no one wants any of their players at the ” peak of their careers “. Another fantasy interview from the home of make believe.
