Celtic v Bayer Leverkusen – Confirmed: Standard Tickets Now Sold Out

Celtic have confirmed that the last remaining tickets up in Section 119 have now been sold and according all standard tickets – ie those without prawn sandwiches – have completely sold out. Celtic might not have the best team in the Europa League butte’ve certainly got the best support. Where else will you see almost 60,000 supporters at at Europa League match this season?

The club talked about the disco lights last week ahead of the low profile League Cup tie against Raith Rovers and took quite a bit of stick on social media for doing that. They really should have kept that one up their sleeves for this evening when once again the Celtic support is descending on Celtic Park in their tens of thousands to roar on the team. It’s a big advantage that hopefully Ange Postecoglou’s team can exploit.

Hopefully Callum McGregor will be fit enough to start and we might even see Kyogo coming off the bench. The main cause for debate among the supporters is whether to start with Montgomery or Scales at left back with many noticing the Irish signing’s pace last week against Raith Rovers and reckoning that could be used to counter the return of speed merchant Jeremie Frimpong.

He is as we all know vulnerable defensively so maybe a might for Jota to shine. Going to be some game, probably with plenty of goals – as for a prediction Celtic 3 Leverkusen 2. There. said it. COYBIG.
