Celtic loanee issues apology after chaotic night

Celtic winger Luis Palma had an extremely mixed evening for loan club Lech Poznan. The Honduran attacker joined the Polish side in a loan deal until the end of the season with Poznan holding an option to buy.

Palma scored, assisted and showed a creative spark in the first 55 minutes for his loan club. However, he was shown a red card after an awful tackle.

It is a tackle that will likely leave the opponent out for a number of months. This prompted an apology on the player’s social media account.

Palma certainly is not that type of player and was clearly attempting to just nip in ahead of the defender. Hopefully the player returns from injury swiftly.

It is likely that Palma will move on from Celtic next summer as he’s fallen out of favour with Brendan Rodgers. The Celtic manager was keen to add more quality in wide options during the transfer market and whilst options were added on the left, they were lacking out on the right.
