The fact no one is too confident of winning at Dens Park is a damning indictment of the state we find ourselves in…

Easter Sunday sees us travel to Dundee for the second time in a fortnight, this time to face the Dark blue side of Dundee, and we can only hope that things go much smoother than they did in the sandpit of Tannadice,
We’ve already experienced defeat at Dens this campaign, a 2-0 loss back in October, and seeking revenge will be uppermost in our thoughts, but it certainly won’t be easy, particularly if we enter the fixture in the same manner we did across the street in our last visit to the City of Discovery a fortnight ago.

Our last two games against the Dens park side at Celtic Park have also been close encounters, in the league and cup, and even though we won both, we done so sparingly.
The worrying thing is, that not a single supporter feels confident about winning at Dens, with even the most optimistic of Celtic supporters feeling doubtful of our chances of beating Steven Pressley’s side.
The very fact that we feel that way, shows just how far standards have plummeted.
So far this campaign we’ve lost a staggering eight times on league duty. Five of those games have been in our travels. One of them being at Sunday’s venue. twice across the street at Tannadice, and once apiece at Tynecastle and Fir Park.

In all of those games we’ve been comprehensively beaten, and teams now have no fear about facing the champions, especially in the comforts of home surroundings.
I don’t mean to be pessimistic, it’s just the honest truth, and most of you if you are being truthful with yourself, will wholeheartedly agree.

The fact that we don’t feel any form of confidence heading into a game with a side firmly rooted at the wrong end of the table, is a damning indictment of the state we currently find ourselves in.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
