Celtic 2-1 RB Leipzig. Brendan Rodgers’ side kept their hopes of Europa League knockouts alive defeating Ralf Ragnick’s Leipzig. It was the Germans first ever trip to Celtic Park since their inception in 2009. The match was home to Celtic’s new much talked about discolights which cost the club the best part of £2 million.

Following Kieran Tierney’s opener in the first half, Odsonne Edouard scored the games winning goal 14 seconds after Jean-Kevin Augustin had equalised with a header. Despite the Germans winning the head-to-head, by the end of the group stage campaign it was Celtic who finished 2nd ahead of Leipzig who surprisingly exited the competition.
Great result for Celtic.
