Celtic v AEK Athens: Jack’s Back

Jack Hendry returns to the Celtic side to play AEK Athens this evening.

Jozo Simunovic, who started against Livingston on Saturday drops to the bench as Brendan Rodgers reverts to the central defensive partnership that took care of Rosenborg in the last round.

Kieran Tierney who dropped to the bench at the weekend starts as does Mikael Lustig at Right Back with Cristian Gamboa dropping out of the squad.

Olivier Ntcham has made it after his ankle injury scare on Saturday and starts alongside skipper Scott Brown in the centre of the park.

Fellow Frenchman Odsonne Edouard will be the sole striker so there is no place in the starting line-up for Leigh Griffiths who will look to make an impact as the Greek leg tire.

The Celtic side is Gordon, Lustig, Tierney, Ajer, Hendry, Brown, Ntcham, Forrest, Rogic, McGregor and Edouard.

The bench features Bain, Simunovic, Kouassi, Sinclair, Hayes, Johnston and Griffiths.
